Preveiw to a Book: The Great Gatsby

The Front Cover

The book is called The Great Gatsby and it was written by F. Scott Fitgerald. It doesn't seem to have won any awards. It seems like an interesting book from the cover possibly about the city.
Two questions I have are, is it set in a city and what are those eyes for?

The Back Cover

The story is about Jay Gatsby and a women named Daisy Buchanan. It is set in the 1920's which was a time period for a lot of parties and and wild things. Apparently it is set to be about lavish parties revolving around sex and drinking.

Inside The Book

It was dedicated to Zelda and is copyrighted in the early 1920's. Chapter titles go by numbers like chapter 1, chapter 2, etc. The writing style is very normal in my opinion it does not seem like he does anything that would set him apart from other authors.

Overall Impression

My overall impression of the book it that it seems fairly interesting. It is set during an interesting time period when the world was changing. The characters seem interesting and just overall it seems like a book I can enjoy readin.

Greatness

Greatness is something that is archived through doing something to impress other people whether it be something to help people like Martin Luther King Jr. did, or something daring to entertain people like the stunts performed by Evil Knievel to bring entertainment to people. Greatness is a standard archived through someone else determining it.
